How would I have a larger center bottom navbar button in jQuery Mobile default navbar?

How would I go about making a larger center button in my bottom navbar for a jQuery Mobile site? This is the effect I would like to have.

What CSS and jQuery would be required to have the button overlap the main window of my app, without breaking my navbar?

This should get you started pretty well:

I am not quite sure what the structure/CSS of the navbar is, but maybe this will work:

z-index: 2 //This number must be higher than the z-index-number of the other navabar-element
bottom: 0px
//Depending on the normal size of your navbar.
width: x 
height: y
