Get Name and number from contact list

I try to get the phone number and contact number from contact list.Here is my code to show it...

public class ContactTutorialActivity extends Activity {

super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.main);

Then what i want is if i select any of its list the cursor move to first and display the selected name and the number but here when i run the program the cursor move to first the toast message work.no contact name and number.

You can get the Contacts Uri ContactsContract.Contacts.CONTENT_URI

This is similar example:

         Cursor cur = cr.query(ContactsContract.Contacts.CONTENT_URI,
