Protobuf-net [ProtoAfterSerialization] Exception Case

Protobuf-net allows for the following attributes:

[ProtoBeforeSerialization]
[ProtoAfterSerialization]

If there is an exception during the serialisation will the [ProtoAfterSerialization] method be called?
