Gson deserialisation returns an Object that contains null

Question

I expected, that Gson would be able to deserialize this JSON String and if not, I thought that Gson would throw an Exception. But neither of these is the case. Gson just returns null. How can I deseralize this JSON String with Gson ?

I actually found it out!

its just a typo! in your json-String its called paragrahps (presumably wrong), and in your TermsAndConditions class its called paragraphs. the ph switched to hp.

By the way: Gson will NOT throw any Exceptions if you give it well-formed JSON. Very sadly there is not a strict option or something like that, that would force it to throw, if it doesn't find some key
