Wrapping an editable JTextArea around a non-editable text in Java

I'm making a command prompt using Swing. I'm using an editable JTextArea for the input, but I don't want to area before the input to be editable (the C:\Windows\system32>).

The only method I know of that can do this is this: Make parts of a JTextArea non editable (not the whole JTextArea!)

Are there any other ways?

Then you can do something like:
