How to invoke WCF service method

In this tutorial, we can get data via GET method directly from browser, as in image below: http://i.msdn.microsoft.com/dd315413.fig06_L%28en-us%29.gif

Here is:

    [OperationContract]
    [WebGet(UriTemplate = "/{year}")]
    IssuesData GetIssuesByYear(string year);

I have similar method in my project:

[ServiceContract]
public interface IRegistrationService
{
    [OperationContract]
    [WebGet(UriTemplate = "/GetUser/{number}")]
    Users GetUsers(string number);
}

But when I type in browser

localhost:26451/RegistrationService.svc/GetUser/1

There is nothing.. It didn't invoke method (checking with debugger). On the other side, example from msdn works nice, and the method is invoked.

What is wrong?

I bet there is some case in web.config file. This is my webconfig:

Because there are no endpoints in the MSDN example, the default endpoints are used. In this case, the default uses webHttpBinding.

Why not just get rid of your endpoint definitions and see what happens.

There are no endpoints configured in web.config. for this particular example POX (webhttpbinding) endpoint should be configured.
