I am new in spring. I have org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionStoreException: Line 8 in XML document from ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/config/sdnext-servlet.xml] is invalid; nested exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 8; columnNumber: 120; cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'beans'. in spring configuration file.Thanks in advance.

Replace the tag by the below code. It works for me:

It appears the configuration is missing the closing </beans> tag.

Also try specifying the version of the beans schema:

<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"
xmlns:mvc="http://www.springframework.org/schema/mvc"

Your beans start tag is bad, replace with; it works for me on spring 3.0 check the schema location:

I think your schema location is not valid. So please change the xsi:schemalocation to xsi:schemaLocation in spring configuration file.
