Errors of simple customized queries in Spring Data Neo4j

Below are two node entity

User.java

@NodeEntity
public class User {
    @GraphId
    private Long id;

    private String firstName;
    private String lastName;

    @Fetch @RelatedTo(type = "HAS_ROLE")
    private Role role;
    ...

}

Role.java

@NodeEntity
public class Role {

    @GraphId

}

If I want to get User who's lastName is "Lin", how could I write the query in my repository? Below block is what I have done, but it failed...

Whether should I have to use "START node... MATCH relationship... RETURN ..." in Spring Data Neo4j? Since If below query will be success:

@Query( "start user=node:User(username={0}) match user-[:HAS_ROLE]-role return user")
User getUserLin(String username);

If I delete the relation and "start", it will be fail...why? And the {0} in (username={0}) means the first parameter of User getUserLin(String username)?

@Query( "match user where user.username='John' return user")
User getUserLin();

You probably use an older version of Spring Data Neo4j the MATCH ... syntax is only supported in 3.x
