Spring boot and embeddded jetty

I am using Spring Boot and Jetty for a project. My pom.xml file is:

But when I run the project I get this error:

org.springframework.context.ApplicationContextException: Unable to start embedded container; nested exception is org.springframework.boot.context.embedded.EmbeddedServletContainerException: Unable to start embedded Jetty servlet container

You have a lot of different dependencies there, so it is difficult to tell which one is causing the problem. I suggest you to try with a basic configuration with Spring Boot, Jersey and Jetty and then you can add the rest of the dependencies.

There are a couple of things that you should double check in your pom, for example you are not declaring spring-boot as the parent or using the bom, and you are not using the Jersey bom which is the recommended way of importing the dependecy as well.
