htaccess rule to remove part of a urls

Question

I'm trying to find a redirect that will remove part of url, but leave the rest.

Now I can do this fine via a single url redirect, but because there are hundreds of pages that I need to do this for, I am hoping that someone can help me figure out a rule that can do this for all of the URLs in one fell swoop.

I'm trying to remove 'en/' or 'id/' from the urls, here are some examples:

http://www.example.com/en/stores

redirects to :

http://www.example.com/stores



http://www.example.com/id/lenovo/1-lenovo-abc.html

redirects to :

http://www.example.com/lenovo/1-lenovo-abc.html
