Error in nodeJS application

I am new to NodeJS. I am trying to build a poll application in Eclipse.When I created "polls" project and there is "app.js" file with this code:

var cookieParser = require('cookie-parser');
var bodyParser = require('body-parser');

When I Run "App.js" as node application. This gives the following o/p:

I've installed Express. In the book I follow,they said when I run it as node application it would lead to browser and to navigate it to localhost:3000.But when I do this it is showing blank page.How to make this code work?

When you first created express app via express generator after that you need to install the dependencies

So, do first install all required dependencies (including serve-favicon one of dependency) with npm install
