How to configure windows 10 not to open link in Edge?

I use Google Chrome as my default browser in Windows 10, but when I click a link in external programs (for instance Skype, Teamcity) Microsoft Edge is launched and open the link instead of Google Chrome. How can I fix it?

There is a way to get rid of the problem even in 21H1: Settings > Default Apps > Set Defaults by App > [Choose your app, e.g., "Firefox"] > Manage > File Type and Protocol Associations > [Change to your app where desired and applicable]

For Me - The following worked

  1. Create the GodMode folder.
    • Create a new folder and rename it to the following -> GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  2. Open the "GodMode" folder and find "Set Your Default Programs"
  3. Open it and you will be able to select the program from the left panel and click "set this program as default"

Go to Control Panel -> Default Programs -> Set your default programs.

Select Project Spartan/Google Chrome and check out the "Choose defaults for this program".
