Visual Studio 2015 xaml Design mode unhandled exception

My visual studio xaml design mode doesn't work. It failed on an unhandled Exception each time I open it. I haven't changed the default configuration and I've never created any project before. What I've done is just:

Installation of Visual studio community 2015 today on Windows 10.
Creation of a new visual c++ Blank app (named FXplorer).
One the program generated, opening of MainPage.xml and click on design mode.
I haven't added any code to my project.

The error is the following:

An Unhandled Exception has occured

Click here to reload the designer => Click here leads to the same error

    </Grid>

I don't know if there is a link but I have another problem with xaml. If I try to open the property window of an xaml element, the window is totaly empty (happens only with xaml).

Go to Windows Settings when the message Enable Developer Mode for Windows 10 appears then change the setting to developer mode. Open the app and you should be able to open the XAML file.

It's working now! But I don't know why...

I wanted to know if the problem happened with other languages. I've so created another project, but a Universal Windows Blank App C# and not c++ this time. In this new app, the Designer was working.

I've then closed this app and I've opened the non working C++ app. And now, the Designer and the properties windows are working.

It's not really an answer but I did not know where to post this.

This worked for me on 2 different HP products (HP sets the "Platform" environment variable).

delete the "Platform" environment variable in System->Advanced System Settings->Environment Variables ...

In my case it said =HPD

In Windows 10 delete Environment variable "Processor". (Control Panel, System and Security, System, Advanced System Settings, Advanced tab. Select "Processor". Click 'Delete', then 'OK', 'OK')
