Hibernate many to many with extras columns delete parent
I have two entities purchase and product, they have many to many relationship let's call purchaseProduct her is the DDL for purchaseProduct

obj and purchase are two different object with same identifier value and are associated with same session, and that's something which is causing the problem.
There is no need to get the complete object in order to delete it. You can just delete any object with nothing but the id.
try this:

session.beginTransaction();
session.delete(obj);
session.getTransaction().commit();
