ghci haskell programming in linux

i'm trying to install GHCi version 8.0.2 on linux ubunto 14.10 i'm using a virtual machine vmware 12.5 thought i followed the steps of installation of the site of haskell platform but i have always the same error:

hp@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install haskell-platform

[sudo] password for hp:

Reading package lists... Done

Building dependency tree

Reading state information... Done

E: Unable to locate package haskell-platform

Is there any solution? what should i do ??
