Instead of httpclient, I have to use rest template. The http client is running properly.
The method I have tried for rest template is below:

Add a bean like this
@Bean
public RestTemplate restTemplateForEmployment(){
HttpClientBuilder httpClientBuilder = HttpClientBuilder.create();
CloseableHttpClient httpClient = httpClientBuilder.build();
HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory rf = new HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory(httpClient);
rf.setConnectTimeout(1000);
rf.setConnectionRequestTimeout(1000);
rf.setReadTimeout(10000);
return new RestTemplate(rf);
}
and Autowire RestTemplate instead of creating using new..
all the above timeouts are in milleseconds.
