Android check internet connection

Question

on my app i have this method and it tells me if there is internet connection or not, but i would like to know if there is a way to check if it is a good network connection.

You can use a simple function for this:

  public boolean isConnectToInternet() {
    ConnectivityManager connectivity = (ConnectivityManager) getApplicationContext().getSystemService(Context.CONNECTIVITY_SERVICE);
    if (connectivity != null) {
      NetworkInfo[] info = connectivity.getAllNetworkInfo();
      if (info != null)
        for (int i = 0; i < info.length; i++)
          if (info[i].getState() == NetworkInfo.State.CONNECTED) {
            return true;
          }
    }
    return false;
  }

Try this. But keep in mind that android always says that a WiFi network is always stronger than mobile network. So my code is for checking the strength of mobile's data.
