I'm trying to use WildFly in my spring boot project.
My Applicaion.java:
@EnableScheduling
@ComponentScan
@EnableAutoConfiguration
@SpringBootApplication
public class Application extends SpringBootServletInitializer {
public static HashMap<String, String> configuration = null; //set in SecurityConfig
@Override
protected SpringApplicationBuilder configure(SpringApplicationBuilder application) {
return application.sources(Application.class);
}
public static void main(String[] args) {
// will ran the application . build all singleton beans
SpringApplication.run(Application.class, args);
}
My pom.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

I tried to follow many different documentations about it, any idea what I'm missing here to fix this error?

You've excluded spring-boot-starter-tomcat
so your application has no embedded servlet container, yet you're trying to run it via its main method. Rather than excluding embedded Tomcat, you could declare it has a provided dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-tomcat</artifactId>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
This will make it available when running your application's main method or when running it as an executable war with java -jar yourapp.war
. It's packaged in the war file in such a way that it won't be on the classpath when deploying your war to an external container such as Wildfly.
