Page Links - Not Found - After disabling index.php in Joomla

Question

I tried disabling Joomla's Index.php via the Global Configurations menu in the admin Panel.

Search Engine Friendly URL's was already enabled on my Joomla site, but I changed the text of htaccess.txt to .htaccessand then enable Use URL rewriting.

The code in my htaccess looks like this.

When I load into my homepage, the page loads perfectly fine. However, when I click any links to a different page, I am receiving a Not Found error saying, "The requested URL /url/page was not found on this server."

I've scoured the internet but have been unable to come across anything that has resolved the issue for me. Has anyone else encountered this or know of any solutions?

I have also tried clearing the cache on my browser and on Joomla as well. Thanks

The problem is most likely the RewriteBase /

If your site is in the root, then comment it out #RewriteBase /

If it is in a subfolder, update with that foldername RewriteBase /foldername
