Question

In spring boot with Thymleaf template engine the code is giving below error

I have read How to avoid the "Circular view path" exception with Spring MVC test comments but even with the thymleaf dependency properly added via it is not going to template->reservation.html it is going in the circular loop of RequestDispatcher forward

If i add @RequestBody it is just returning the string reservation and not going the template file of reservations.html

By defining version you are making conflicts for spring-boot.

Remove <version>1.4.0.RELEASE</version> from dependency like below.Let the spring boot take decision of version based on parent version.
