Figured it out

import ...
import { UserEntity } from './user.entity';
import { getRepositoryToken } from '@nestjs/typeorm';

const ctx = await NestFactory.createApplicationContext(AppModule)
const repository: Repository<UserEntity> = ctx.get(getRepositoryToken(UserEntity));
