What does "indexvalue" mean and what is it used for?

<img indexvalue="17" width="160px" src="/Special/CapImg/aityckg4d3NVYTB4cU5xOUFIdjVKSHoxRlVOaTgwY3doVWErc0h6NXVqL3hSQUFBb3JvWFc0azBtc2hFNG9vK3JKM3dvcGZGc1FxMUJUQUVpN3JTU3c9PQ==.jpg">

It's not a valid HTML attribute. That being said, it is still accessible using JavaScript and is probably being used to determine which image the user clicked on.
