First, define a tree node, where the BFSTraversal
is breath-first search, ReconstructBFS
is to construct a tree based on a breadth-first search sequence.

Then overload the <<
operator, which gives a compiler error that I do not understand. Is there something wrong with my lambda function?

A lambda function can be assigned to a function pointer only if does not capture. If it captures, it cannot be assigned to a function pointer.

Use a std::function
instead.
// Not this.
// void (*visit)(T) = [&os](T v) -> void { ... }
std::function<void(T)> visit = [&os](T v) -> void { ... }
Of course, that will require you to change the function BFSTraversal
too. It should expect a std::function
instead of a function pointer.
