How to make scrollable instead overlapping

I have drawn the following html site:

I would like do it with flexbox and I've tried as follows:

The red box should be 100% height and text should not overlap it. That because I would like to make it scrollable.

Is this what you asked ? I have given the blue div 95vw in order to show that it exists if u make that 100% it will disappear.
