I am trying to compile my angular application for production. I issued the below command:
ng build --prod
I got several errors related to bootstrap:
ERROR in ./node_modules/bootstrap/dist/css/bootstrap.css
Module build failed: BrowserslistError: Unknown browser major
at error (C:\frontend\node_modules\postcss-merge-rules\node_modules\browserslist\index.js:37:11)
Not sure what I need to do to fix these errors. When I issued the command
ng serve
the application compiled successfully with ng serve. Below is my Package.json file:

Updating bootstrap to 4.1.3 will fix the issue. ("bootstrap": "^4.3.1"
).
This is discussed in this thread.

Remove the '^' from the "bootstrap": "^4.0.0"
or update the Angular CLI to ver 1.7. The problem is with the version of the autoprefixer that is incompatible with the updated Bootstrap.
