i got that code that o build with some informations and codes from the web, but i tryed at least a hundred times, rewrite the mode_info
and vbe_info
structure, i can't get the correct values, i saw vbe3.pdf but it use dd ?
and db ?
and thats dont work in NASM
, at some sites i found diferent byte sizes for the vbe_info
and mode_info
data structure, so i wrote what i guess, and the system don't even print the msg "set vieo mode", stops in the get_mode_info
, i guess that the system bugs when i try call functions using the mode_info
data ( may/probably the structureits not correct ), but whats wrong with the code?
( the code dont fit in boot loader so i had to load second sector )

HERE THE ANSWER:
1: i was using cs
and not cx
at get_mode_info
so the vesa returned error
2: i was using vbe_video_modes
as mode(word) array, but i need to use as a address or pointer
3: first i need to configure the window before paint, now i can draw at all screen( what answers my other question )...
