Not able to install the latest django in virtualenv

Hello I am trying to install latest version of django in my virtualenv through the following command. 

pip install Django==3.0.5

for which I got an output as below

ERROR: No matching distribution found for Django==3.0.5

It's like it is only aware of Django==2.2.12. Then I tried running 

pip install --upgrade django

for which it install the cached django

my pip version is 20.0.2. Kindly help.

Django 2.2 is the last version where Python 3.5 is supported. Django 3.0 requires Python 3.6+. To install the latest Django upgrade your Python to at least Python 3.6, better to 3.7.
