Why aren't my buttons aligning horizontally in Android Studio xml?

I want to change alignment of my button horizontally. This is my xml code on Android Studio:

But when I run it on my phone it turns out like this:

You should have always have all the four constraints defined.

Try using vertical and horizontal bias.

And don't use tools:layout_editor_absoluteX="161dp"

It's because you're using tools:layout_editor_absoluteX="161dp" to set the button position in the preview. This won't be applied to the actual app (tool attributes will be removed when the apk is built).

Instead set up the constraints for the buttons as you require, something along the following lines should work,
