node-pre-gyp install--fallback-to-build --library=static_library

I have a node.js app. Every time that I execute npm install on my app, the following error persists:

I tried to install to the latest version or uninstall grpc, and it did not help.

Switch to node V11.15.0 (your package.json engine node v10 is not taken into account, the error logs mention node v12). You can use nvm to do so, so you don't have to unstall node v12. nvm install v11.15.0 then nvm use v11.15.0 then yarn install That worked for me.
