as I added the spring-cloud-starter-config dependency to my project I'm getting following error:
No spring.config.import property has been defined. Add a spring.config.import=configserver: property to your configuration. If configuration is not required add spring.config.import=optional:configserver: instead. To disable this check, set spring.cloud.config.enabled=false or spring.cloud.config.import-check.enabled=false.
But I added it in a bootstrap.yml, can be seen here:
spring:
cloud:
config:
enabled: true
uri: http://localhost:9296
My application.yml looks like this:
server:
port: 9092
spring:
application:
name: USER-SERVICE
There is my pom.xml
:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Try adding below dependency to your pom.xml to indicate the bootstrap setup
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-starter-bootstrap</artifactId>
</dependency>

When setting up bootstrap.yml for my spring-cloud-configuration I had to also provide the following program argument for bootstrap.yml to get picked up:
--spring.cloud.bootstrap.enabled=true
Two other helpful properties to put in your bootstrap.yml file to control what can sources override properties:
spring:
cloud:
config:
allowOverride: ~
overrideNone: ~
