Reportviewer, Some reports print and others won't
I have a c# winforms program that prints reports from a database using reportviewer. I've installed it on a few machines and it runs just fine. I have one new install where some reports render but others won't. The ones that won't render have an image in the header of the report. The error I get is below.
I've tried reinstalling, rebooting, I even checked that .Net 4.8 is loaded. Any suggestions?
I'm working on VS 2019 and .Net v4.8.

I got to the bottom of it. The report, rdlc, file was from when the project was in VS2010 and the reference was in the RDLC. There had been an image on that report header but it had been removed. But the image was left in the resources for the report. I used VS to remove the image from the Report Data in the image section. But that doesn't remove the reference to the offending assembly. I used Notepad++ to open the RDLC file and manually delete the XML with the reference. If you use reportviewer you owe it to yourself to look through a RDLC file and see what is there!
I'm posting this to close the thread and in case anyone in the future has this problem. Thanks to Nyuno to the push in figuring it out!
