How to fix PyQt6-tools installation error?

I want to create my small GUI app with PyQt6. I've installed PyQt6, but I also have to install PyQt6-tools. So, when I tried to get it, I got this error:

The conflict is caused by:
    pyqt6-tools 6.1.0.3.2 depends on pyqt6-plugins<6.1.0.3 and >=6.1.0.2.2
    pyqt6-tools 6.0.3.3.2 depends on pyqt6-plugins<6.0.3.3 and >=6.0.3.2.2

To fix this you could try to:
1. loosen the range of package versions you've specified
2. remove package versions to allow pip attempt to solve the dependency conflict

I understand, that there is problem with dependencies, but I don't have any experiance in pip, so I don't know how to solve this problem. OS: Windows 10, python 3.10

I encountered the same problem and after I checked the PyPi and pyqt6-tools GitHub repository, I found out the most recent compatible Python version is Python 3.9. please switch your Python version to the 3.9 version and retry to install it using the pip install command in the terminal.

<PathToPython3.9>\python.exe -m pip install pyqt6-tools

I suggest you use a virtual environment to install the packages. it's worthy mentioning that the recent versions is not integrated with qt designer and you need to download it using the following link:

For those who use Linux (Ubuntu for me) and don't want to revert to Python 3.9 use this method:

  1. Install flatpak if you don't have it sudo apt install flatpak
  2. Add flatpak repo: flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
  3. Install Qt Designer: flatpak install flathub io.qt.Designer
  4. AFter installation complete: run designer in terminal.

Had the same errors with python 3.10, but didnt want to give up and revert to older version 3.9 Installed the designer seperately from https://build-system.fman.io/qt-designer-download Its a small and quick install.

As suggested by eyllanesc, using python3.9 worked out for me.
