Why is it called "lunch" in AOSP Building?

I came across the AOSP Build process and the command "lunch".

Can somebody explain, why it was called "lunch"? What the intention behind?

Because AOSP builds run so slowly, the command is called "lunch" because you should go to lunch after running this command to start a build.
