I'm running a .NET core application and when i'm trying to hit api from front end i'm getting the below error

I tried checking PostSharp.Patterns.Caching package configuration from NuGet packages and also tried re-starting/refreshing the redis cache.

You need to set up your caching backend first. See: https://doc.postsharp.net/caching/backends/caching-backends

If you want to use In Memory caching, you can use as this:

CachingServices.DefaultBackend = new MemoryCacheBackend(cache);
