Changing cockpit port in Alma Linux 9

Question

can anyone tell me how to change Cockpit's 9090 port on Alma Linux. I've tried following the steps in https://cockpit-project.org/guide/latest/listen and in some other sites, but nothing seems to work and Cockpit still demands to run on port 9090. That port is curently being used for another service that is connected to other systems, even ones that I'm not familiar of so I'd rather move cockpit's port instead, if that is possible.
