Default Extension for Sequential Files in IBM DataStage When Not Specified

are there any DataStage experts here?

I don't have access to DataStage, and I am working on a migration based solely on the DataStage documentation. I came across instances in parallel jobs where the output is a sequential file, but the file path does not include an extension. Can anyone clarify what the default extension would be for files generated if no extension is specified when outputting sequential files?

I have searched through all the DataStage documents but have not been able to find an answer to this question. Can someone please help me?

There is no a default extension for sequential files, it will be a text file that you could open and read without problems
