Exception while preparing the app : Unable to load the EJB module. DeploymentContext does not contain any EJB

I'm trying to deploy a simple Java EE application with an EJB Module in Netbeans using GlassFish 5.1 and Java EE 8.

The error I get is listed below.

java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to load the EJB module. DeploymentContext does not contain any EJB. Check the archive to ensure correct packaging for C:\Users\Public\NetBeansProject\HelloWorldBean\build\classes.
If you use EJB component annotations to define the EJB, and an ejb or web deployment descriptor is also used, please make sure that the deployment descriptor references a Java EE 5 or higher version schema, and that the metadata-complete attribute is not set to true, so the component annotations can be processed as expected

This is my bean:

package hello;

import javax.ejb.Stateless;
import javax.ejb.LocalBean;

@Stateless
@LocalBean
public class HelloWorldBean implements HelloWorldBeanRemote {

    @Override
    public String sayHello(String name)
    {
        return "Hello " +name+ "!";
    }
}

and this is my ejb-jar.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ejb-jar xmlns="http://xmlns.jcp.org/xml/ns/javaee"
        version="3.2"
        xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
        xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.jcp.org/xml/ns/javaee http://xmlns.jcp.org/xml/ns/javaee/ejb-jar_3_2.xsd">

    <enterprise-beans>
        <session>
            <ejb-name>HelloWorldBean</ejb-name>
            <ejb-class>hello.HelloWorldBean</ejb-class>
            <session-type>Stateless</session-type>
            <transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
        </session>
    </enterprise-beans>

</ejb-jar>

I searched a bit online but I didn't find a solution to my problem
