I am not able to add a actions logs in ExtentCucumberAdapter spark report getting error

If running script testng.xml logs printing in ExtentCucumberAdapter spark report but if i run the script in cucumber feature file getting error "java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.aventstack.extentreports.ExtentTest.log(com.aventstack.extentreports.Status, String)" because the return value of "com.aventstack.extentreports.cucumber.adapter.ExtentCucumberAdapter.getCurrentStep()" is null"
