Cannot configure PCI-X SCSI RAID Controller

I have an IBM power PC on which I am trying to do standalone diagnostics and create a RAID. Following are the steps:

  1. Restart the powerpc with the standalone CD in DVD drive, so it will boot from the CD Drive and go into the "Stand Alone Diagnostic" Menu.

As next step comes this menu where I select F1 and press Enter

3.Then I go for "Task Selection" and "PCI-X SCSI Disk Array Manager" options. PCI-X

  1. After that I select and format drives (select both pdisk0 and pdisk1 and format) Format

  2. After that I go for Create PCI-X SCSI Disk Array, select RAID 10, go with recommended 64KB and press enter. create

Select both

what I have selected

  1. Once I press enter for create process it shows me the following window where it remains stuck. I press enter move my cursor but nothing happens.

create

  1. After pressing F3 to cancel this when I click on option 1 "List PCI-X SCSI Disk Array Configuration", I see the following (it shows up as degraded)

Degraded

Can someone please tell me what am i doing wrong?
