I had a XAMPP install (OS X 8.2.4) which was working perfectly, using vhost and so, i developped a Joomla5 project on it. After a few month i need to restore the online site locally to make some big works. I did it with Akeeba/kickstart which i am used. Up to there no problem, i could reach kickstart.php and the process went up to the end, i have the joomla files in the root, databases. Just i can't reach my site, it always redirect to dashboard. I tried to put an index.html on the site root, it's work, i can see it.
I did already lot of things (spend about one day on it), read a lot about this quite common problem, nothing worked. I had several "steps/problems" going worst and worst during these process, up to some error 403 and so. Now i managed to be on the first step again..
Just to test, I did a new empty new vhost and it's works, seems that XAMPP is working fine.
Already tried to remove .htaccess... where should i search, it's obviously the joomla install which is the problem?
Connection to the database? database user? usally when you have this kind of problem you have a joomla error right?
... forgot to say i updated my system to sequoia 15.3 before all these problems
If somebody has some idea, it will be very welcome:
Cheers
mainly worked on the httpd.conf, httpd-vhosts.conf even tried to build a ssl certificate
