Microsoft Azure, custom question answering bot for 2025

I've created a custom question answering service in Microsoft Azure. However, it seems bots cannot properly use this anymore?

The "create a bot" after deployment no longer works, it just freezes up and refuses to create anything and Microsoft support has no idea why.

Composer can create the bot, but on publish can no longer access web chat or direct line due to being now depreciated.

Visual Studio runs into the same issue as composer. Create the bot works fine, but on publish to Azure, it stops working for webchat and direct line.

Using Copilot doesn't seem to have actual connectivity to custom question answering. I'm not sure if Copilot is the proper tool for this anyways.

So then, what's the proper way to simply publish a working bot using the language studio resource as of 2025 with all the deprecated services?
