Select tab in ribbon in Word Web add-in

Is there a direct way of selecting a specific tab in the ribbon using the Word JavaScript API? (Specifically, the Review tab.)

I don't see anything in the Ribbon or Tab pages of the API documentation.

["No, you can't do that" is fine as an answer to this, if that's the case. Not looking for a convoluted workaround if there is no direct way of doing it.]

Directly selecting a ribbon tab is not possible with the Office JavaScript library. You can suggest that Microsoft add support for this at Microsoft 365 Developer Platform - Ideas. Tag the idea OFFICE ADD-INS DEVELOPMENT and OFFICE ADD-INS UX.
