Using Power BI Calculation Groups and Visual Calculations to properly show variances

I am trying to use calculation groups and visual calculations to do variance analysis. I am using the visual calculations as the measure. When I put the calculation group as the columns the currency based numbers are correctly showing variances however the percentages are not.

I tried using different measures and calculations. When I create a measure for the percentage, the calculation group correctly calculates the delta. However, the visual calculation does not. Here is an Example 1 of the situation.

The measure I am using for the calculation group is: Delta Measure
