CSS/Wordpress/WPBakery: issue with responsive column layout

I have a Wordpress website with Kalium theme and WPBakery page builder: https://metiq.com/

Below the "About Us" there is a grey box with four icons with text (a row with four columns):

On mobile, I'd like to display two columns per row, so I have set the width in the responsive settings to 1/2:

However, this works only for the first two columns. The last two are displayed as 1/2, but in one row each:

Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?
