My organization has recently acquired a Fabric licence, I have recreated all the tables in our PBI models in a new lakehouse through a Dataflow GEN 2. Now I have created a new semantic model to mirror the PBI model so that our reports will be based off of the semantic model. When I try to create new tables and columns in the semantic model I realized that the "New Column" and "New Table" tabs in fabric have been grayed out. If I try to use the DAX option in the model interface (Fabric DAX Studio) it throws error, eg NewSample = SUMMARIZE(MODEL_SAMPLE, MODEL_SAMPLE[TEXT_ID], ARCHIVE_SAMPLE[NUMERIC_ID])
throws error " The syntax for 'SUMMARIZE' is incorrect". Is there a way I can create new columns and tables within a semantic model in the Fabric interface?
