How do I set up Sublime Text 4 as an IDE on macOS Sequoia?

I'm using macOS Sequoia and would like to use Sublime Text 4 as my IDE to compile and run my code directly from the editor. I'm not sure how to configure the build system for this setup.

Has anyone done this before or can point me to some resources or examples?
