Issue with index.html file in my react native project not updating

Question

When I click on the reset password link in my email it takes me to the right page, an index.html file I am using as a middle man to redirect to the actual reset password page, but the index.html page isn't updating. I changed the scheme link to a universal link, because the scheme one wasn't working, and it keeps using the scheme link for some reason. anyone have help?

I have tried resetting the cache and reinstalling dependencies and it hasn't worked. Any ideas?
