How to connect two IR from independent Azure Data Factory to the same SHIR machine
For Disaster Recovery (DR) purposes, I have a setup with two instances of the same Azure Data Factory (ADF) where eg one is located in France and the other in Germany. I have a situation where I have one physical on-premises Self-Hosted Integration Runtime.
How would I have both ADF IRs connect with the same machine?
I have tried to use a Linked IR where one IR points to the other. However if the other IR is down, will the linked IR stop working? I believe it will, so I am not sure that this answer is correct. Both IRs need to point to the same SHIR. They do not need to depend on one being available.
