Ubuntu - syslog & kern.log filling up with messages (audio pci?)

Question

My syslog & kern.log files are enormous - I checked these files & found that they are being filled with the following messages.

I don't expect anyone to have an answer as to what is happening here, but is anyone able to give suggestions on what to look at next? The logs are a bit mystifying to me.

Possibly helpful information:

• Kernel version is 6.8.0-52-generic on Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
• The error message looks like its from my audio card - I had recently installed Audacity, first from an AppImage & then from apt-get. Perhaps this has something to do with it?
