I recently installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 ARM64, and I noticed that the Plug and Play (PlugPlay) service is missing when I check the Services Manager (`services.msc). However, in Windows 11 x64, the Plug and Play service is clearly listed.
Here’s what I have checked so far:
sc query PlugPlay
results in:OpenService FAILED 1060: The specified service does not exist as an installed service. Searching for related services in services.msc, but I only found Device Install Service (DInstSvc).
tasklist /svc | findstr svchost
, but no clear indication of Plug and Play.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PlugPlay
, but it doesn't exist.Questions:
I would appreciate any insights or references to official documentation regarding this change. Thanks!
